J. Cole – Cole Summer

Thanks to Political K for letting me know this song existed. Cole Summer comes from who else but hip-hop artist J. Cole, and it’s a song he released basically just because he thought his fans needed some fresh music from before his newest album is released. Sadly, this song will not be on the upcoming album entitled “Born Sinner“, but that doesn’t stop it from still being a very poetic piece from the North Carolina rapper.

Sampling Lauryn Hill’s Nothing Even Matters (feat. D’Angelo), Cole speaks on a variety of topics in a reflection of his road traveled thus far. The song culminates into a conversation between Cole and hip-hop personified. I think it’s a dope track and quite enjoyable. Check it out and let us know your thoughts.
